At Fisher you will receive the individualized attention that you need to be a successful student. Fisher College graduation rates are among the highest of associate degree granting institutions in New England. Come to College where you will feel like you are special - a place where you belong!
Founded in 1903, Fisher College is a Boston-based accredited independent college, offering curricula that integrate a liberal education with career and pre-professional programs designed to meet the changing needs of both traditional and non-traditional learners. Through its degree level and certificate programs, Fisher College has endeavored to create a learning environment that fosters the intellectual growth of its students, promotes respect for self and others, and seeks to develop the inherent capacities of each individual student to prepare for a full, satisfying, and productive professional and cultural life. Graduates of Fisher College are expected to be informed decision-makers, prepared for immediate career entry or further higher education, and able to demonstrate an understanding of and appreciation for the values of all cultures.
Since its beginnings, Fisher College has empowered students through education - one student at a time. Students from all over the world choose to attend Fisher because of its small size, attention to the individual, wonderful academic support, high graduation rate and because our alumni learn the skills they need to succeed in their career. Fisher offers an individualized educational experience that few can match. Start with committed faculty members; add small class sizes, a supportive environment and internship experiences; mix in a one hundred year history of success; and you will begin to understand why you belong at Fisher College.
Fisher College believes that students achieve greater success when they have specific educational goals toward which to work. The academic programs are designed with a degree of flexibility so that, generally, a student may change his or her major without difficulty or adverse consequences. Academic advisors are assigned to each student to assist in selecting the appropriate courses necessary to meet educational objectives.
Credits earned at Fisher are generally transferable to other colleges and universities. Because specific program requirements vary among institutions, students wishing to transfer should work closely with their advisor and the College transfer counselor to ensure the maximum transfer of credit.

Fisher College offers four residential halls all located on quaint Boston city streets near Fisher College. Two of the buildings are considered 24-hour quiet floor residences. All of the halls are coed (with alternate male/female floors), and feature kitchens, lounges, study areas, laundry facilities and vending machines.
Walk the streets of Boston and history is around you everywhere. You'll come for the Revolutionary sites along the Freedom Trail, but the seasoned Boston traveler will know to search out the unusual - like the Ether Dome, where ether was first used - and the bizarre - the small bocce court in the North End built along the path of the Great Molasses Flood of 1919.
But that's only a part of your visit to Boston! From museums to pro sports, from fresh seafood to Italian cuisine, Boston has something for everyone. It's also a great place to start your exploration of New England.
One of America's oldest cities (founded in 1630), Boston remains one of its most European in feel. Like many European cities, Boston is best explored on foot. Make sure to wear some comfortable shoes to explore the Freedom Trail (which links key historic sites downtown by way of a red line painted on the sidewalk), the Public Garden, the bookshops and other stores of Harvard Square.
