Care & Support

We understand the unique needs of international students!

At go-study.com we are very proud of our reputation for providing high levels of student support and care. This reputation is built on our unique understanding of the special requirements of international students developed over many years.

From the moment our students step off the plane to the time they complete their studies, we will make sure our students feel happy during their time with us.

Student Care & Welfare Manager

A lot of effort goes into answering agent questions, securing a complete application and obtaining an acceptance from a partner high school or university. However, the customer service that each student requires is a task only the Student Care and Welfare Manager can handle.  With the help of the team, the Welfare Manager works to ensure a student arrives safely to their school and adjusts to their new surroundings. If a student loses their laptop, is failing a class or wants to transfer schools, he is the one to field the call. When good news about grade reports comes in or a student makes the local news, he is the first to hear. Schools confide in the Welfare Manager as the go-study.com liason to ensure students have an enjoyable and successful year.  The position of Student Care and Welfare Manager captures the essence of what makes go-study.com different from other placement agencies, and it’s the reason why our students return year after year.

Meet the go-study.com Student Care & Welfare Manager - Patrick McConaghy

go-study.com student care and welfare manager.Ever since I studied in London for a semester abroad while in college, I have traveled the world. I have also worked as an English teacher at a kindergarten in China, a high school in New Jersey, Tulane University in New Orleans and with Embassy CES in Boston.  My interests include driving my Volkswagen van, watching movies, learning new languages and cooking.  I can speak enough Mandarin to order at a restaurant and I studied French for four years in high school. I enjoy working with all aspects of the Placement division in New York: from helping high school students to overseas marketing trips to building new programs at partner universities. April will mark my third year with Study Group and I look forward to another great one!

Airport Transfer

For added convenience and security we can arrange for our students to be met at the airport when our students arrive and taken directly to their accommodation.

A Full Orientation Service

If our students are staying with a host family they will show our students how to get to the center on the first day of their course. We will also provide our students with a comprehensive orientation booklet or student handbook which provides invaluable information on their course, the school, our staff and the city. On their first day our students will receive a full orientation program at their chosen center.

Support and Assistance

Our dedicated staff are there to make their stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. They are always on hand to answer any questions or resolve any problems our students may have during their stay.  Our students will be provided with a special telephone number to call (24 hours a day) in the event of a genuine emergency.

StudyCare - Insurance for International Students

As a professional organization we take the security of our students very seriously. This is why it is compulsory for every student to have adequate insurance during their time with us.
