Manhattan College offers an ESL Transition program on campus, for students who do not have the required English proficiency for direct entry to a degree.

 

Manhattan College offers undergraduate studies in the following schools:  School of Business, School of Arts, School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Science.  Graduate studies include:  The Graduate School of Education which offers degrees in counseling, special education and school administration and supervision; and the Graduate School of Engineering with degree programs in chemical, civil, environmental, electrical, computer and mechanical engineering.

Manhattan College offers a pleasant, tranquil campus 10 miles north of midtown Manhattan.  The campus offers a new library and gymnasium with 6 lane track, basketball courts, tennis courts, weight room and fitness center.

Manhattan College consists of seven uniquely different residence halls to accommodate any living style.  Rooms in general are furnished with a bed and mattress, chest of drawers, desk and chair for each student.  Closet or locker space is also provided.  Freshman residence includes a coed double room residence hall with common bathroom areas and carpeted rooms.  The building has four lounge areas, three with cable TV service, two with kitchen facilities, and one quiet study area.

Manhattan College also has a female only residence hall with common bathroom areas and carpeted rooms.  It has one lounge area with cable TV service, and a space for quiet study.  These rooms are shared rooms and house four female students each.

One of the great advantages of attending Manhattan is its proximity to New York City. Although nestled in the suburbs, Manhattan College is a stone’s throw away from one of the finest classrooms in the world. Just a half-hour from our bucolic campus lie New York City’s vast attractions, offering a wealth of first-hand learning opportunities and enjoyment.
