Founded in 1947, Merrimack College is a small, comprehensive, modern center of higher learning in the Northeast. Merrimack offers 30 majors including Digital Media Arts, Sports Medicine and International Business. At Merrimack College, students learn through cutting edge classes, independent projects, research and fieldwork.  The emphasis on liberal arts will help students be prepared to be imaginative, analytical, aware of trends and historical perspectives, clear thinking, and adaptable to changes in your career.   Majors include:  Liberal Arts, Business and International Commerce and Science and Engineering.  Merrimack also offers a Master of Education degree in elementary education.

Merrimack's students participate in a dynamic "living and learning" community. Students learning experience at Merrimack can take place in the classroom, the lab, the residence halls, and in numerous campus activities, including clubs, organizations, intramural activities, and dozens of cultural opportunities.  The campus includes the award-winning Rogers Center for the Arts, The Sakowich Campus Center with dinning areas, study lounges, a book store, chapel and computer cafés.  A multipurpose gymnasium, an indoor running track, and weight and aerobic rooms are all available on campus.

Several new buildings accentuate this beautiful 220-acre New England campus, including the progressive Sakowich Campus Center, the award-winning Rogers Center for the Arts, and two residence halls built in the last three years.

Residence halls for first-year students comprise mostly double or triple rooms, or suites.  Rooms include Internet access, phone and cable outlets.  Suites feature two bedrooms, a small common area and a bathroom.  All residence halls include laundry facilities, and study and social lounges.

Merrimack College offers a beautiful New England setting on a 220-acre campus located in northeaster Massachusetts.  Merrimack is a 25 minute drive to Boston, the ocean and shopping.  The area provides a wealth of interesting historical sites, cultural and recreational opportunities.
