The campus comprises 30 buildings--a mix of modern facilities and traditional New England structures, some dating back to the mid 1800's. A picturesque covered bridge spans the Contoocook River and connects the residence halls to 26 acres of the College's athletic fields. The campus is a comfortable and informal place, friendly and casual, like the people and institutions of the Granite State. There is a real sense of community among faculty, staff and students, and also between the College and townspeople.

The New England College experience offers a wide range of extracurricular activities. The College supports 13 intercollegiate men's and women's athletic teams, including lacrosse, soccer, ice hockey, field hockey, softball, baseball, basketball and cross-country. Fifty-five percent of the student body participates in intercollegiate athletics or intramural sports. More than two dozen student organizations are available and include such clubs as the International Student Association and Hillel. Students publish a campus newspaper (the New Englander) and operate a campus radio station (WNEC).

Primarily a first year residence hall, Charter is host to two floors of double rooms, two lounges, a kitchen, one triple, and the Coffee House.  Charter’s spacious floor plan, eclectic mix of residents, and recently renovated Coffee House, create a feeling of community and makes meeting people easy and fun.

The beautiful, 225-acre New England College campus is located in the charming town of Henniker and surrounded by some of the most picturesque countryside in the United States.

New England College is nestled in an area abounding with natural beauty. Located in Henniker, a village of 4,000 residents just 90 minutes from Boston and 20 minutes from Concord, the state capital.

The Contoocook River runs through the center of the village and alongside the campus. The area is surrounded by scenic hills and mountains.
