The 22-acre Woodbury campus is located 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. One of the advantages of Woodbury University is its close proximity to the world-famous entertainment industry. It boasts an architecture program recently ranked 8th in the nation. The Woodbury University campus offers a career center, health and counseling center, learning center, special design facilities, swimming pool, gymnasium, and athletic fields, all situated on beautifully landscaped grounds. Woodbury’s library features 70,700 volumes, and students have access to nearly 100 computers. Students have a choice of over 36 social organizations, intramural athletics, sports & recreation programs to join.
Woodbury University has two traditional style co-ed residence halls. South Hall is a traditional single-story co-ed residence built around a central courtyard. The rooms are furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair and sink for each student. Rooms are also Internet-ready. Rooms are not air conditioned, but are equipped with ceiling fans. Community bathrooms are conveniently located in the male and female hallways. South Hall is equipped with laundry facilities, drink and snack machines, a central lounge (with a large screen TV and recreation center), and a common kitchen.
North Hall is a three story air-conditioned building designed in a suite style. Each suite houses up to fourteen students who share a kitchen and bathroom. Each room is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk and chair for each student. Rooms are also Internet-ready. North Hall also has a common central lounge (with a large-screen TV and ping-pong table), drink and snack machines, laundry facilities and a gated parking lot.
Woodbury’s attractive 22-acre campus is situated in a residential section of Burbank, near Downtown Los Angeles and has a proven track record training leaders in business, design and the professional fields. The 1400 undergraduates have access to internships with Disney, Warner Bros. and Dreamworks studios. The Woodbury University architecture program was recently ranked eighth in the nation.
