go-study.com undergraduate information and students studying in America.As an undergraduate student, you will earn a Bachelor’s degree at University or College.  Your four year journey will start with you being a freshman and ending with you becoming a senior.

First Year as a Freshman
In your first year as a Freshman, the focus is on introductory courses giving a solid grounding in a wide range of subjects. There is usually a compulsory core curriculum (known as prerequisites) which may include mathematics, science, English, history, logic and philosophy, but which also allows you to choose electives in subjects that interest you. This is also your chance to take introductory courses in what you hope will become your main discipline of study (known as your major).

Second Year as a Sophomore
In your second year as a Sophomore, you will complete the core curriculum and advance in some subjects to the next level. Those students who have decided on a major may begin taking classes specific for their major at this time. However, you are not required to form ally declare a major until your junior year.

Third Year as a Junior
In the third year as a Junior, you will begin the advanced coursework for your major.

Fourth Year as a Senior
In your fourth year as a Senior, you will take your last exams, complete your Bachelor's degree, and graduate.

Two Year Colleges
Two-year colleges offer a wide range of undergraduate classes that can lead to an Associate’s degree. As well as traditional core disciplines such as mathematics, business, science and history, they also offer excellent vocational training in areas such as tourism, accounting, electronics, graphic design, hospital administration, and hospitality management. The curriculum is very flexible you can also progress from community college to university, where you complete your final two years to achieve the more advanced Bachelor's Degree.
